Antennas, for one, plus their supports. I have an original AN/TRC-1
manual.
One entire setup weighed something like 3000 lbs. Not exactly man-
pack.
AN/TRC-1 component parts list included the following:
1 ea Receiver R-19/TRC-1
1 ea Transmitter T-14/TRC-1
2 ea Antenna system AS-19/TRC-1
1 ea Running Spares, tools and operating components
1 ea PE-75 generator
1 ea Maintenance Equipment MK-4/TRC-1
1 ea Cord CD-711
1 ea Junction Box JB-110
2 ea Technical Manuals
2 ea Technical Manual for PE-75.
For AN/TRC-4 relay station, triple everything in the above list.
T-14/TRC-1 could run either 50 watts output or 10 watts output.
The AN/TRA-1 (which includes the AM-8/TRA-1 amplifier) was issued
for use if needed. It provides 250 watts output over 70 - 100 Mhz.
(BTW, I have six of these amps, NIB.)
