Value depends on rarity + demand. This is not a real common unit but
basically no one wants one.  I gather you don't have the transmitter AC
supply or you probably would have decided already not to keep.
Probably "someone" "somewhere" should preserve one of these setups
but.....         In the early days of ww2 surplus i think some hams used them
on 6 meters, but WBFM, single channel, plus great weight is just not a 
prizewinning combo any more.  I did see, or rather, hear,  the transmitter 
used as an unlicensed FM transmitter back in the 1970s - the freq range
is 70 - 100 MHz.  If you take it apart, i don't think you'll reap a harvest of
very useful parts either. Sorry to be negative on this but that's the facts,
