I think that is the 49T rack adapter.  I have one.  I think it was designed to backfit a 618T into the rack for a 618S.  Electrically, the stabilized master oscillator ARC-38 is quite different from the crystal-controlled 618S, but maybe the rack wiring for the ARC-38 and the 618S is close enough for the 49T to work OK in either.  I don't know, because I don't have a manual for the 49T or the 618S.
