BC-1k divides 40-48 mhz into 40 channels.  250 kcs/channel

Will put BC-1k on Moto lo-band deviation meter today, stay tuned.

& next week is inter-op check w. RT-70.  More stay-tuned

This I can say now: BC-1k sounds fb on 200kc-wide Monitoradio MR-33

                    400hz tone 'loudness' doesn't change when URM-75
                    deviation goes beyond 20kcs

BC-1K antenna tip.  Use unsaleable & common as dirt CPRC-26 fan-fold 
with 1/4" pipe plug silver-soldered to bottom.  Can't be told fm AN-131
