Excellent reports and photos. Looks like a fun station to operate. And
you just cannot ask for a better backdrop!

Glad to hear you had fair success, and my apologies for the AMers in
the NE area who interfered. The group is, for the most part, very
courteous, interested, and willing to help out/take part in such
things. We do have a few 'problem children' though, including one in
3-Land who likes to load up 2kcs away and call CQ like your
knuckledraggers down there, and one up in Maine who sees himself as
the world's greatest broadcaster. Couple others as well, but for the
most part a good group.

I listened some on Saturday and could hear folks calling your station,
also could hear bits and pieces through the noise. QRN has really
ramped up just over the last 2 weeks though, so it is increasingly
difficult.

Thank you for the effort to mark such a historical event and group,
and for doing it "right" by representing and using the appropriate
gear. History should always be much more than simply what you read in
books.
