U sure wud have 'had the effort.'  That height is 'riser' component of 
the vertical dipole.  Ur term Hue

The horizontal component (of an aviation sloper) can no-kiddin' be
viewed as a transmission line OR a capacity hat.  The 'image' or other
conductor of the open transmission line is on the bottom side of the
acft.  

In the trig sense, horizontal component'd be the 'runner.' 
& I must note here I have a dog named Hypotenuse.  Please excuse 
non-sequitor.

The ONLY place I've ever seen install instructions for a hf command set
is in the jurrasic SCR-183 book.  Just sez get antenna lead outa acft 
quick as u can.

As I sed once, think hf command antennas largely intentionally hobbled
so signals wudn't get far fm formation.  

"think" is a big word

Dangit, the systems designers/engineers @ RCA, GE, ARC, WECo, etc. are 
folks about whom we know nothing.  There's a little known re Link & Galvin.
