ARC 109s are plentiful in surplus. Swap meet prices are about $100 and 
dealers get about $350. One of the ARC 109 control heads has a ferrite core memory 
for channel settings so it aint that modern. Less easy to use than an ARC 51BX 
(28 VDC) since the ARC 109 takes 400 hz power as I recall
