see John R. Pierce's story of this klystron on the SMECC website....  In one
interesting conversation I had with John I asked him if he would like one of
these klystrons to put on his book shelf.... he softly replied no... pointed
to his head and replied " it is still all up here"

anyway folks this article here covers  many of the early tubes he worked on
at Bell Labs....enjoy!
