[Milsurplus] TCS low power operation?

Has anyone seen actual text in any TCS manual explaining low power operation?
I mean: as indicated on the transmitter schematic, running the whole transmitter
on 220v B+ only, by jumpering some resistors in the power amps.  I imagine AM
output power then would be about 5 watts, yes? I have looked thru several letter
suffix TCS manuals and never found text on this.
