The RBH-2 is an NC-156-1 or -2, and yes the box on the back is for extra 
rereadiation shielding. There is an on-line manual copy somewhere, just 
don't remember where. Unfortunately it is just an operating manual and 
doesn't tell you how to remove the catacomb. Not terribly difficult, but you 
have to watch for bent contacts mostly, particularly by the pinion gear 
which moves the catacomb. Been there done that. This is a good GC receiver.
