[Milsurplus] BC-1000 on Six metres?

Hi All,

I've been offered a Wireless Set No 31, the UK equivalent of the BC-1000 I
believe, and was wondering if it's possible to "pull" it onto Six metres, up
to about 52.5 for FM use? Has there ever been any articles published about
this, I wonder? I think when the WS31/BC1000 was freely available over here
we didn't have 50 MHz access, hence these rigs weren't too popular as the
nearest UK-allocated bands then would be either 29 or 70MHz, both quite a
big swing. I have a Racal TRA967 on Six FM and it would be good to be able
to use both old and new rigs in a net at vintage events.

Thanks for looking,
