[Milsurplus] Green goo

Folks - This stuff forms on brass and copper. It does so with great
rapidity.

I find I constantly have to keep after it on a Viet Nam era bayonet, and
on a similar clip fastener that clips over a stud to close a particular
pocket knife carrier.

It has always been a bane of military equipment that has been in storage
for any period of time.

You can put the items in a humidity controlled environment - using
adequate Silica Gel, and STILL it grows!
