[Milsurplus] Hamfest and other thoughts

None missed any deals at today's Hamfest, an over priced R-390 and a lot of little bits and peace. Although their was a fair amount of showing off trophies.
Seeing the threads about the BC-348 makes me wonder, unlike the 342 / 312 family of radios there never was an AC power supply internal to any of the 348 families, correct me if I am wrong. Am sure someone will.
Let me pose a question for discussion * What is the most "Ham" modified a.k.a. butchered radio out their? Is it the ARC-5 series receivers, myself had killed many back in the seventies, The ARC-5 series transmitters, or the BC-348 receiver? It's hard to imagine how any of these radios got here today without at least one hole or mod.
