If I recall, the original battery was 6 V. I always use a 9 V battery and it
works fine and lasts about as long as shelf-life.

Just trying to get an old GRC-9 operating. I think I might have a bad coil
on
K-101, but didn't have time to check it throughly. What I would like to ask
is what the best thing to use for the Receiver Bias Battery (BT-1). Can I
just hook up an AA cell, or was it some odd voltage?
