This I don't know, but it probably was just next to the BC-966. Those
oddball J-25/APX-2 conversion boxes (so you can use the old remotes with
the "new" AN/APX-2) had pretty short cables. Once the J-box is bolted to
the front of the transponder, the cables only reach about a foot.

Groovy! I have a number of MK III interrogators, nice and new, and I think
you need to have one.
