[Milsurplus] Couple of oddball questions

Hi All,

Couple of questions that I thought I'd lump into one.

First,

Anyone have any details of IFF installations(SCR-695)
in WWII aircraft? I have some questions of where the
control boxes were mounted relative to the IFF unit itself.

(I just hooked up an SCR-695 set, and got some life out of it,
but don't think it is fully working yet.)

Second, I have an RU-19 receiver, with a motley collection
of RU-16 and 17 coil sets. They work OK, but if anyone has
any extra RU-19 coil sets,  could we work some kind of trade or deal?

Lastly, concerning an ART-13.  Why did the services replace
the DY-12 dynamotor with the DY-17? Was there a problem with
the DY-12?
