[Milsurplus] AN/PRR-9 Voltage question

Hi everyone,
I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this one, but I
figured I'd post the question here before I let the
smoke out:)  Can the AN/PRR-9 be run off of a 9V.  I'm
pretty sure it's 6V now, so that 3V probably won't
hurt. (Just like the PRT-4A, I use 2 9V for that)
