The loop for the manual version of the MN-26 had no fairing either. It was a loop of about 3/4" OD
pipe, maybe 10" in diameter. The base housing had "No Hand Hold" or some such stenciled on it. The
teardrop or football shaped housing was for the automatic radio compass and the loop was driven by
a servo motor.
