They may look clunky and old, but we definitely used them in 'Nam. They
were still in service even after that. My set "www.w2ec.com/grc109.html"
was depot refurbished in the 1980's.
The set on ebay is a very nearly complete set. To be truly complete you
need to add the GRA-71 Coder Burst set which is the high speed encoder
and keyer for "secure" tranmission of coded messages. I have one of
these although it is not shown on my webpage with my GRC-109.
