[Milsurplus] R-392 Receiver questions...

HI all,

I recently acquired an R-392 receiver in excellent condition.  I found a suitable supply, powered it up on Sunday and have been very favorably impressed with its performance.  My question relates to ID'ing the unit.  This R-392 is black wrinkle and it is the original finish as the entire unit, case and front panel are in black wrinkle with the original silk screening for the panel.  No tag on the front panel and I cannot find any numbers anywhere on the outside of the anodized chassis.  

Anyone have any suggestions of where else to look for ID info?  

It has a Collins PTO, with an orange Collins tag.
