[Milsurplus] SCR-270? Air Force Museum?

Tonight, while sorting manuals, I can across a little letter and a
clipping from Charles Littell, the owner of a small surplus company
located outside of Dayton. Apparently back in 1971, the Air Force Museum
put out a call for SCR-270 radar components in some of the Electronic
trade magazines. Mr. Littell responded, saying that he had a bunch of the
components (scopes, receivers, transmitter, power unit - the GOOD stuff).
Well, I don't know what happened to the SCR-270 gear. It wasn't at his
estate sale (other than the manual where the letter was found) last year.
Does anyone know if the museum ended up with any SCR-270 parts? And what
became of them? The museum often cleared out lots of goodies over the
years (some of the better pieces illegally, but I don't think old radar
junk would count) thru deaccession. In fact, there were quite a few
interesting pieces ex-AF museum in the pile last year.
I have half a mind to ask the museum itself. It would be nice if one of
the museums could get an SCR-270 completed. Anyone here involved in that
organization?
