[Milsurplus] URM-25D vs. URM-25F

Mahlon and the group,
Some years ago, as I recall, the received wisdom was that the URM-25D was
the standard by which they were measured, and the F-model was inferior - the
D's were snapped up, while F's sold for less and were the last to go. There
were some exterior differences, but I don't know if they mirrored any
interior mods. BTW, mine is the URM-25D.
Is that how others remember it?
