But we do know the Navy used the Army's FM equipment. In the Pacific, the
SCR-300 replaced the TBY; amphib landing craft carried the SCR-509 or 510
lunch boxes - some of us have the operator manual. The Navy also had type
MN transceivers, FM, 115 AC/1/60 powered.
I have a couple BC-1000's with Navy added-on nameplates. Interesting, still
OD color, as opposed to some grey ones that have been seen, but i don't
believe the Pacific invasions ones had add-on tags - but i'm not sure, of course.
