I have been searching for some documentation for the R-
1169/SRR reciever, also marked Westrex 6010 Receiver, for the
past several weeks.
So far, only one person has even heard of it, our own Jack
Antonio, and he gave me some specs. It looks like a pretty
interesting receiver.
I finally managed to track down Westrex of New York. That
company was bought by Litton Systems, then THAT company
was bought by Northrop-Grumman Electronic Systems.
I have been in contact with someone at Northrop-Grumman,
and they have been working on the problem for the past two or
three weeks, and have, so far, come up empty handed.
The receiver was apparently used mostly by the U.S. Coast
Guard.
Surely SOMEone of our acquaintence has a copy of a manual or
schematic for this receiver.
FYI, it is a 20 channel receiver which covers from 150 Khz
through 32 Mhz. Modes of reception are AM/CW/SSB/FM. It is
all solid-state, has a built in AC power supply and is rack
mounted.
Does ANYone here know or can suggest where I might find
some technical information on this receiver?
Anyone here ever in the U.S. Coast Guard, or know someone
who was?
