[Milsurplus] subminiature tubes question

My experience has been with the portable equipment 1AD4, 6397, and the
like, and the initial proximity fuze applications. I wondered if there
was any further development of them before solid state took over, and
you've answered my application question which I didn't even ask. Thanks.
