The only vhf set i've really ever gotten interested in is maybe the Sonar
CD-6, which i call quasi-military as it was issued for Civil Defense use
by the states back then. It has a tunable receiver, a real nice frequency
dial, black wrinkle, and even a removable front cover. Unfortunately for
me, the CD-6 seems a lot more scarce than the 2 meter version, CD-2.
