Hi Patrick,

43 Henries seems very large, particularly for something that can handle 300
mA.

The inductive reactance at 60 Hz of 43 H would be 2 x pi x 60 x 43 = 16210
ohms.  How did you test this with only a 5000 ohm variable resistor in your
setup?

I think there's an error in there somewhere.  Perhaps by a factor of 2 x pi?
