    I worked ARC-27s at a depot repair facility for two and half years on
2nd shift while going to school. Each module had a test bench then when an
ARC was built up from repaired module there was a final alignment station
for the entire radio. After the set was rocked in it had to be demonstrated
to an inspector who either bought off the set or wrote up problems for
re-repair. There was quite a bit of tweeking to be done on the independently
repaired modules to make them a 'radio'.
