[Milsurplus] what xtal set is this?

I have a NOS box of FT-243 xtals, marked channel
270 thru 389, freqs 5675 thru 8650 kc in 25 kc steps.

According to  the paperwork enclose, this lot was
tested in 1/55, packed/inspected 3/55 at Decatur
IL Signal Depot. Nomenclature is "2X7C.1-2 Crystal Set"

What radio set would this set of crystals have
gone with?

Interesting side note, the packing list/inspection
sheets both inside and in an envelope outside are
printed on the blank reverse of several pages of
recycled forms from Decatur Depot, one to
University of TN, Knoxville ROTC for batteries,
one to Jefferson Proving Grounds for assorted
parts, and one sheet that looks like a radio
equipment installation worksheet/work order
for radio installation in an LTV and trimmed to
8.5x11 that is blank on the rear. Several other
recycle supply orders to various places.
These papers are nearly as interesting as
the box of crystals.
