I'd really like to find out why these things fail. Could you, and anyone else
who has a blown one, please measure the DC resistance of the various windings?
Specifically, I'd like to know the resistance between the following terminal
pairs:
1 & 2
3 & 25
25 & 5
21 & 19
19 & 22
23 & 13
13 & 24
10 & 12
8 & 9
7 & 20
6 & 14
If possible, I'd prefer measurements without the 6X5s in their sockets, but that
is not essential. I'd also like a set of measurements on a known good unit.
Rather than clutter up the lists, please email me the measurements directly.
Maybe we can figure out how to save these puppies.
Thanks,
-John
