Ah, yes. This refers to the initial setting of the transmitter oscillator=20
frequency. This pitfall can be avoided by using an accurately calibrated H=
F=20
receiver to make the setting rather than looking for a particular reaction d=
own=20
in the receiver's discriminator circuit as prescribed in the manual. I use=
=20
my 51J4 for this but a BC-211 would probably work just fine too. =20

Takes sixteen (16) trimmer adjustments to set up a channel in the 669 and=20
then a final PA adjustment when the chassis is put back into the cabinet and=
