[Milsurplus] ID'ing a unit

Barry,

I don't have a manual on it and it has been years (30+) since I last saw one 
but I think it is a standard (generic) shipboard remote transmitter control 
unit.  If it doesn't say in smaller print under the nomenclature "A Unit Of 
Model Txx..." then that's probably what it is.  Most ships had, in Radio Central, 
a Transmitter Transfer Switchboard bank.  From there you could patch most 
transmitters aboard to any remote, and sometimes to more than one remote.
