All:

P7 is the blue-white short and yellow long phosphor. P11 is a uv enhanced bluish purple phosphor used to take advantage of the faster speed of the film in use at that time. P31 is the phosphor that most current o'scopes use. It is a burn resistant phosphor that all but eliminates the burn lines on the CRT.

I used to work for Tektronix and still have book that lists all of the various phosphors. I'll try to find it this weekend and post a list.

Thanks,

"The P and following digits indicated the phosphor, and there a good list is useful. P1 is scope, P4 is B & W TV, and P22 is color TV. I think the orange, dual persistence radar display was P10, but don't take that to the bank. Anyone have a good URL for the phosphor designations?"
