Group,

I just noticed while looking through the GF-11/RU-16 manual that the
RU-16,17,18 and 19 receivers were built in two groups, Regular Equipment and Bulk
Spares. Serial numbers of the Bulk Spares receivers have suffix "-S". Presumably
this applies to transmitters and other serial numbered items as well. But
the receiver serial numbers were listed on an addenda page giving S/N range of a
modification made during production. Other units weren't listed.

I also surmise from this and other indications that the four "models" were
built concurrently, 16 and 17 with matching 14 and 28 volt transmitters and 18
and 19 as standalone sets.
