Actually, it's not quite that bad. The strange thing is, without providing a
pack frame and tie-downs, the only provision for carrying is one strap, so
without the improvised packframe, the radio is carried, worn like a big purse,
at the side. But i don't recall it being that heavy at all (carrying it about a
large yard about 10 years ago.) Not as bad as carrying a GRC-9 or TBX
