Indeed. I don't know of any other design wins the 808 had, apart froma few
RCA transmitters (as you know). They may have been used in the early 75
MHz marker beacon equipment (BC-301, I think).

The 806 must have had some use, as my sole 806 is a postwar JAN from
RCA. I have never seen reference to a rig that used it.
