Well, not to be picky, but the RAL CAN do phone since it has a switch 
to switch the narrow audio filter out. I used to use mine for both SSB 
and AM many years ago.

RAKs are another matter, however. Pretty impossible with those.

I still use an RAL-7 and like it very much for CW.
