I have a photo somewhere of the radios installed in an F6F.
They include MF, *HF* and VHF ARC-5, ARR-2 and I *think* there may
have been another VHF set.  I'll have to dig it out.
As we've discovered many times:  When it comes to what they actually
put in the aircraft, "never say 'never'."
Remember when people believed the Eighth Air Force never
used tactical HF, until Mr. Ramey posted the photo
of their control tower with SCR-274N installed?
