Mark,

I have him in my database but can't think of his name right off - probably
pop up when I wake up in the morning. Has AN/VRC-10 and AN/GRR-5 installed.

I meant to include TCS in the list and now that I think of it, AN/GRR-5,
SCR-593 and SCR-511 are two more that would work in the unmodified MB and GPW.

FLA of the PE-73-(*) is 20 Amps. The batteries would have supplied the
starting surge. I forget what the filament and relay load was and all the manuals
are in the attic. The BC-312 takes 5 Amps or a little less. It would have
been marginal but would have worked if the operator wasn't long-winded. Makes
me wonder how well the 14 Volt AN/VRC-1 worked in practice. With the addition
of the SCR-542 VHF set. At least the SCR-499 when installed in an MB had the
PE-95 towed behind.
