Robert, Whose jeep did you see down at Brent's?

As you well know my MB-NAVY-MZ-1 Navy radio jeep uses a 24v in between the
seats generator run of a Spicer 18W PTO that used 2-12v batteries in the same
boxes used for the 6v batteries that was used in the standard 12v version with a
similar generator set up. It puts out 25 amps.( 600 watts) while the 12v
version puts out 55 amps (660 watts).

These radio jeeps normally had the TCS, SCR-608 or MAH (RT-19/ARC-4)
installed for the Navy/USMC.

I know the Army used the same Willys 12v generator in a kit to change an
MB/GPW to a 12v radio platform and Ford had a similar generator, but as the
primary, so those jeeps were completely changed over to 12v.

How much power did the BC-375 need? I seem to remember it is more than these
generators produce?

Regards,
Mark Tombleson
