Groups,
I have a dynamotor here that I've had maybe 20 years and never have
identified as to application. Ratings are at 27.5VDC so is isn't civilian. Outputs
are 430V/35MA & 220V/280MA 10 minutes and 400V/280MA & 210V/280MA 5 minutes.
Input current 7 and 11A. Continental Part No. 44693 and Dynamotor DMDFX414T on
the nameplate. Physically, the dynamotor is about the same diameter as the
DM-33/DY-8, DM-35/36 or DM-40/41. Off one end is a small squirrel cage blower.
Length is a little longer than the other dynamotors, mainly because of the
blower. The endbell on the other end is a little longer than typical, and
sticking out one side is a 6-pin 400 series Jones plug. No Military nameplate and
no sign of the remains of a decal.
Any guesses?
