    The FRR-502 Rx is a tunable Rx, but i suspect that it was mainly used as 
a xtal controlled Rx. The tuning drive isn't great, even for AM & SW and 
nearly impossible for SSB usage. The Rx is quite sensitive with a bandwith of 6 -8 
Khz. My set has 4 coils, covering 2 to 32 Mhz...i didn't know that the low 
frequency tuning unit existed!
