Jim,
Soak the label part of the slug upside down in a shallow dish of solvent
for 24 hours. Use just enough lighter fluid to cover the aluminum label
and get at the adhesive underneath. That frees up the glue holding the
label on, and you can pull or gently pry it off, revealing screws inside
you can remove. The rest of the process should be obvious. The white
plastic cover pops off but sometimes it is quite tight and resists
disassembly.
