Second that.  The "improvements" commonly hammed into a TCS
aren't nearly worth the cost of the destruction done.
My stock-original TCS also works beautifully.  One of 
my favorite rigs.  If you use an old telephone carbon mike element,
you can get very much higher/cleaner modulation without so much as
unsoldering a wire.
