There is a frequency inversion in the PRC-47. It contains an
LSB filter (F500Z-5) which is used to generate or receive
an USB signal. To convert to LSB operation, you need to replace
the LSB filter with an USB filter. I've been told that realignement
of the IF is desirable after swapping the filters. F500Z-4 filters
are a perfect match for the F500Z-5's excpet USB instead of LSB.
I've got some F500Z-6's which might work - e-mail me for more info.
I thought the 618T used a 300 kHz IF - send me the numbers on the filter
and I'llsee if I hanve any more info on our filter.
