P 10 of the Nov 2003 issue of PARACHUTIST, a skydiving magazine, there is a
letter and some photos from Paul Herrick. He was in Aggressor Force military
freefall test jumps at Ft Campbell KY on Sept 22, 1959. He tells of having a "30
lb PRC 10 tactical radio" strapped under the reserve chute with antenna and
handset attached "for use under canopy if desired". The photo shows the PRC 10
mounting details. It is in a canvas container with various straps. The jumps
were made at night from an H 34 helo at 8000 ft.
