These sets were used in large numbers by Civil Air Patrol in the 1950s.
Usually as fixed stations in statewide administrative nets.

I've been wanting to put one of these sets together, and one problem is
that I'm missing the cable that goes between the power supply and the
BC-669.  And the reason that is a problem is that it uses a non-standard
AN connector, one with some different sized pins than the standard.
I haven't decided whether to replace the connectors with standard ones
or to keep trying to find a cable or the correct connectors.
