Re the "B" set, i don't know this for a fact, but it always seemed
to me that using the 230 MHz range was maybe too much of
a stretch, that if the B set had been set in a lower frequency range,
say, 70 MHz or so, it might have been more effective. I'm thinking
the very high frequency range was not to avoid German monitoring,
because the actual range was quite short, too short, i think, even
for combat maneuvering.
