Now we are on the topic of ADF can someone tell me where the ARN6 / R101 =
ADF receiver fits in? I've always wondered if it is Wartime or did it =
came out just after the War? I have a complete installation (that is =
available should anybody be interested) that I want to advertise but I =
don't know if I can call it WW2 radio =20
What I have available is:
ARN6/R101 receiver, frequency range of 200 - 1750 KHz in four bands.
receiver mounting
Control box
Control box mounting
Bowden cable (flexible tuning shaft between the control box and the =
receiver)
Loop antenna
Sense antenna base. (from the sense antenna base a wire was run to the =
aircraft tail)
Compass indicator
All wired up with the correct connectors and the whole installation is =
in working condition. I don't collect aircraft radio anymore, anybody =
interested in a swap for old manpack radio gear? =20
I also have a spare loop antenna, bowden cable, sense antenna base and =
compass indicator. =20
