Hi All,

Just a quick update on my findings on the above batteries. I carefully =
removed the cover on the battery with the 6v section and found that =
there are two sets of batteries in there. 12 individual cells set up =
for two 12V units. Each cell has a small plastic plate covering a =
synthetic rubber cap. The cap seals the filler hole for adding the =
distilled de-ionized water to each cell. (will take some pictures). I =
added 3 cc of water to each cell (including the unit that was measuring =
12V and waited a few days. Then hit the battery with a charge again. =
Both cells are now at 13.6V. I put a 50 Ohm load on and it took 24 =
hours for the voltage to hit 12V. I think that's around 6 amphours of =
capacity. This is the first charge cycle on what was a definitely bad =
battery. Looks like these units are just a bit dry, and not really =
sulphated. Means we can get them back to operating condition.
